Lizzie Crarer

Lizzie has seventeen years experience in theatre as a performer, director/ facilitator, and theatre -maker, and has come to specialise in projects that link performance and history. She co-created a solo show about suffragette Emily Wilding Davison for the Production Exchange; she played Emily Bronte in 'Bronte' for Shared Experience; she played the title role in 'The Ballad of Maria Marten' and toured nationally to critical acclaim; she was a regional assistant on 'We're here because we're here' for the National Theatre; and she is a member of The Natural Theatre company in Bath, regularly involved in their performance and heritage work. She has worked with groups of non-professional participants at organisations including the Rose Theatre; the Watermill Theatre; the Egg Theatre; Youth Music Theatre: UK; and Shooting Roots youth folk arts. Lizzie is an associate of the Authentic Artist Collective.
